Get answers to common questions about O-Shot (Orgasm Shot).
The O-Shot uses your own platelet-rich plasma drawn from a blood sample, concentrated, then injected into targeted genital tissues. Growth factors stimulate healing, increased blood flow, and tissue regeneration to improve sensitivity, lubrication, and sometimes urinary control over weeks to months.
Many women seeking improved arousal, reduced discomfort, or mild stress urinary incontinence are candidates. A consultation reviews medical history, medications, pregnancy status, and expectations. Not appropriate for active infections, blood-clotting disorders, or certain autoimmune conditions.
Most patients experience only mild discomfort. We apply local numbing and use gentle injection techniques. Some soreness, swelling, or bruising can occur briefly. Over-the-counter pain relief and ice help; discomfort typically resolves within a few days to two weeks.
Many patients notice improvements within four to six weeks as tissues respond, with continued gains over three months. Results vary; some need a single treatment while others benefit from a series for longer-lasting effects.
The O-Shot is generally well tolerated since it uses autologous PRP. Possible side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, mild pain, and infection risk at injection sites. Thorough screening and sterile technique minimize risks; we review all precautions during consultation.
Expect minimal downtime: avoid sexual activity and strenuous exercise for 48 to 72 hours. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and resolve in days. Follow post-care instructions, stay hydrated, and attend follow-up visits to monitor response and discuss any additional treatments.
